Gene Nichol is a professor of law at the University of North Carolina. He speaks and writes on poverty in North Carolina. His research is supported by the N.C. Poverty Research Fund.

Dinner & Childcare Reservations

A reservation and payment are required for the Saturday evening dinner, and a reservation for free childcare for the Saturday evening dinner and/or presentation.


Initiatives and Resources              

As we prepare for our study of childhood poverty this fall, we are aware that some of our own members experienced poverty at some point in childhood. We would like to collect your stories and print them to share within the congregation as a way to help us think about what it's like to be poor as a child.
