Leadership at Guilford Park
The life and ministry of Guilford Park is carried by people who love this congregation and feel called to serve it. Our staff brings together pastoral leadership, music, Christian education for children and youth, and the day-to-day administration that keeps our doors open and our ministries thriving—from our Head of Staff and Director of Music Ministries to our educators, musicians, and church administrator. Each one is here because they believe, as we do, that the church can be a place of genuine belonging.
Like every PC(USA) congregation, Guilford Park is governed not by one person but by a Session—a group of ordained elders, elected by the congregation, who together with the pastor discern the direction of our shared life. Our elders serve in rotating classes and lead through committees that touch every corner of our ministry: worship, mission, justice and peacemaking, congregational care, property, and more. It's a model of shared, prayerful leadership that has guided Presbyterians for generations.
We are also blessed by the leadership of Presbyterian Women, part of a churchwide movement within the PC(USA) that connects women across the denomination in faith, study, fellowship, and service. Through circles that meet for Bible study and genuine sisterhood—and through hands-on mission both near and far—Presbyterian Women nurture community here at Guilford Park and beyond.
