Parent TestimonialsMy husband and I have been parents at Guilford Park Preschool for 9 years, my oldest started at the school when he was 3 months old. As a new Mom I was terrified to leave my new baby with anyone other than family. I did the research and decided to go by recommendations. I found out about Guilford Park from a neighbor friend and decided to go for a tour. After walking in to the facility and meeting the director Miss Debbie I knew I had found what I was looking for, and I did not feel the need to look any further. Over the years I have had four children and all of them have attended the school. Presently, I have one child in the pre-K and one in the 2 year old class. My oldest two children are in grade school and are excelling in school, which I credit to the amazing teachers at Guilford Park who helped lay the foundation of love for learning. Guilford Park’s smallness gives a feel of family that I have not felt when I have toured other schools. When we are greeted by Miss Debbie at the doors when school starts in the morning, she smiles and greets everyone by name - children and parents. I am amazed that she remembers these details, it makes me feel that she truly cares about the families. The teachers are amazing as well and I have never had a bad experience. When I leave my children at school I know that not only are they receiving a top notch education to get them ready for kindergarten but they also feel loved by the teachers and staff. If your desire is for your child to learn and grow in a loving environment look no further - this is the school for you.
-Debra Ford As a mom with a North Carolina Teaching License, I was keenly aware of the magnitude of finding a preschool that encourages and enriches early childhood development. Guilford Park combines a curriculum that supports play based learning, while concentrating on literacy. Upon entering Guilford Park’s pre-k program, it was apparent that my four year old was in need of a classroom that encompassed a routine, structure, small class size, while promoting patience and dedication when helping students focus and learn. After touring Guilford Park, meeting Debbie, the director, and the staff, it was apparent this was where our family needed to attend.
From the beginning, the pre-k teachers worked with me to come up with innovative ways to further my child’s learning from home. I cannot express how much she has blossomed, enjoyed being at school, and excelled academically. Guilford Park has placed the foundation for future learning and equipped my daughter with the tools necessary for kindergarten. We attribute her academic success and devotion to learning, to the atmosphere cultivated at Guilford Park. I cannot express enough my appreciation for the staff at Guilford Park and their ability to truly produce a culture that inspires and promotes education at the earliest of ages. Pre-K Classes at Guilford ParkKinder-Spanish at Guilford ParkKinder Spanish is offered regularly to our 2, 3 and 4 year old classes. Within the Kinder Spanish curriculum, children have the unique opportunity to learn Spanish and Sign Language in a fun and enjoyable way.
Learning is enhanced through the use of music, graphics, movement, games and more. A series of lessons and songs cover concepts like greetings, colors, numbers, foods and animals. Guilford Park is proud to partner with instructors from Kinder Spanish to offer this integrated opportunity in our preschool setting! |
