Worship
Join us for worship Sundays at 10:00 a.m.
Worship is the heart of our life and mission together at Guilford Park. In all our worship, we seek to proclaim the good news of the gospel in ways that nourish our hearts and minds, honors our tradition, expresses creativity in music and arts, and presents a relevant message for individuals and families today. We celebrate God’s grace in several different styles, which are all intergenerational, and we practice the sacraments of holy communion and baptism in our worship.
Special Services
During the year, special worship services are observed for special liturgical days and seasons. These include services for Ash Wednesday, Blessing of the Animals, Blue Christmas, annual laity, youth and children-led services.
Communion Ministry- "Bringing the Table to the Community" The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is an important time of spiritual nourishment and community building for our members. The Session has authorized that elders may bring the communion meal to members who are unable to attend church on the 1st Sunday of the month when the sacrament is celebrated. If you know of a member who we might offer to bring communion into their home because they are unable to attend worship, please contact Jenny Hamilton.
