Guilford Park Guys strives to develop Christ-based relationships with local youth helping them
realize their full potential by providing a safe and welcoming space for fellowship and caring
mentors to help guide and support them as they navigate life's challenges.

More About the Program:
Guilford Park Guys is a mentoring and recreation program that Guilford Park church offers to
positively impact the lives of young men of high school and middle school age What started
as a time for the guys to play basketball in the GPPC fellowship hall has evolved into an
opportunity for our members to make connections and share friendship and leadership skills.
The initiative also includes homework assistance to develop the boys’, academic
performance and approach to life. We partner with students at A&T University who help
provide guidance and positive role models for the students participating in the program.
Guilford Park Guys is included in the United Way Mentoring Matters registry,
