Welcome to the "GUM Hub!" At Guilford Park Presbyterian Church, we are proud to partner with Greensboro Urban Ministry (GUM) to provide a safe and welcoming Emergency Summer Shelter for 12-15 men experiencing homelessness from June 1 through August 31. Located in our church basement beneath the sanctuary, this initiative embodies our commitment to serving our community and being the hands and feet of Christ. Here, you will find important updates, announcements, and volunteer opportunities as we work together to make a positive impact in the lives of our neighbors. Provide a Dinner

Volunteer to provide a simple dinner for 12-15 guests and 2 GUM staff for one evening this summer.

Provide a Breakfast

Volunteer to provide a simple, "to-go" brown bag breakfast for our guests as they head out each morning.

Help Wash Laundry

Volunteer to help clean sheets and towels for our guests.  Linens will need to be washed approximately once a week.
